DEFINITIONS: Off-Campus enrollment at UCS is defined as enrollment of any student,
Grade K -12, in a "Satellite Campus" program, at home or elsewhere, which fulfills all
the requirements.
(see Handbook for complete information.) A Satellite Campus of UCS is a place
where a UCS student attends school on a regular basis other than at the school's main campus at
520 N. McComb in Martin, TN.

UCS is a Category IV and Category II school and a member in good standing with TANAS
(Tennessee Association of Non-Public Academic Schools). Because of these affiliations, UCS is
qualified, according to the Tennessee Department of Education, to supervise such "satellite
campus" programs. The UCS Off-Campus Program, according to our definitions and specifications
in Tennessee State Laws, is technically NOT a home school program, even though the majority of
UCS Off-Campus students are being taught in their own homes by their own parents. A student
enrolled in the Off-Campus Program of UCS is considered a student of UCS.

The Off-Campus Program is designed to assist parents who have chosen to take upon themselves
the primary responsibility for their child(ren)' s education, and to provide documentation of their
fulfillment of Tennessee's compulsory school attendance regulations. Our program has been
specifically designed to provide adequate accountability between the student's parent(s) and the
school, through a thorough enrollment process, annual orientation meeting, regular grade
reporting, and mandatory annual achievement testing.

Fees per Year for Off-Campus Enrollment in Unity Christian School:
Increases in annual fees reflect an attempt to match the fees to the actual costs of the Off-Campus Program. You
will notice substantial discounts for returning students and siblings. The higher cost for high school students
reflects the much larger investment in time and effort that it expended by our staff in charting each student's
progress through high school requirements, preparing transcripts, giving counsel in preparation for college, etc.
The extra fee for seniors includes unlimited transcripts to potential colleges, cap and gown, graduation ceremony
and reception.  It does not include any tests, printed invitations, class ring, yearbook, photos, or other
graduation-related souvenirs, all of which are available at extra cost.  None of these fees includes costs for taking
classes at UCS, special contests, competitions, or any other extra activities available at or through UCS. Annual
spring achievement testing in groups (not privately-arranged testing) is $25.00 each.
