Tennessee public schools have been ranked 46th -48th in the nation for the past several years.
(according to the National Education Association)
The God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, has been completely expelled from the public schools.
The value of human life is depreciated as Abortion is taught as okay and that the unborn fetus
is not really a baby (human life) at all.
The Homosexual and Lesbian lifestyles are taught as 'alternative lifestyles' that are normal
and acceptable and are not to be put down in any way.
Evolution is taught as fact and Creation is ignored or ridiculed.
Parental involvement is reduced to parent-teacher conferences or on a 'need-to-know' basis.
Gifted and average students are being "dumbed down' as the state is forced to comply with
the No Child Left Behind strategy.

UNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL has the finest, most qualified staff that we have
ever had.
UNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL just received its highest rating ever in its annual
recertification by TANAS.
UNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL is still this area's only College Prep, State Board of
Education accredited private school.
UCS realizes that we live in an economically depressed area. This is the main reason
private schools have had such a hard time succeeding in northwest Tennessee. We
at UCS have done all we know to do to keep costs at a minimum. We receive
NO monies at all from the state or government; therefore, tuition must cover all
costs. In the past Daystar Bible Church has graciously covered utilities, supplies, and
even the building payment in order for us to keep the doors open. However, UCS is
NOT a church sponsored school; so even though we deeply appreciate their gifts, we
cannot depend on them for the monies we need to run this business.
The cost may seem high, but, again, they are as low as we can go and still operate.
We have worked to set up our costs so that if you can afford daycare for your
child, you can afford UCS. Our mentor school in Jackson, Tn, is Trinity Christian
Academy, and we have listed their prices in order to give you an idea of what you
would pay if you were in a larger city.
