Mercee currently holds USAG
State Championship titles for
the past three consecutive
years.  She is presently
USAG's 2008 Prep-Op Gold
Division Uneven Bars
Champion as well as the
2008 All Around State
Champion.  Additionally,
Mercee is the AAU's 2008
State Champion on the
Balance Beam.  She is
privileged to be able to
compete in national
competition this summer at
the 2008 AAU Naitonal
Championships at Disney's
Wide World of Sports Complex
in Orlando, Florida.

2008 TANAS
STATE
WINNERS
Unity Christian School recently participated in the Tennessee Association of Non-Public Academic School’s end of
the year competitions in Nashville.  The school brought home a certificate of promotion as it earned three out of four
stars in the Excellence Incentive Program.  (
left to right) Annie Mae Jones received an Honorable Mention in
Division Two’s 2-Dimentional Art.  
Angela Hendricks earned Second Place in Division Four’s Color Photography.  
Bryson Betz took Runner-Up in the Sr. Spelling Bee.  Kaylee Burton wrote a short story and was rewarded with
Second Place in Division One Writing.  
Connor Betz finally seized Runner-up in the Jr. Spelling Bee after close to
20 rounds of spelling.  
Ashley Mitchell won First Place in Division One Vocals.
